As part of the social media campaign, artists and fans are invited to post a photo or video with their favorite album, using the hashtag #MusiCaresChallenge. They’re encouraged to make a donation to MusiCares and tag five friends to do the same.
Demi tweeted a photo of herself today holding Beyonce’s Lemonade album. And in a MusiCares video, The Backstreet Boys cite Boyz II Men’s second album, II, as their collective favorite, while Troye is seen holding Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black.
MusiCares raise funds for programs aimed at supporting members of the music community in times of need.
