Jason Merritt/Getty Images viaIggy Azalea has revealed plans to join Australia’s X-Factor, and has also announced the delay of her upcoming album, Digital Distortion.
The Aussie rapper dropped the X-Factor news Saturday, tweeting about her upcoming stint as a judge in response to a fan who asked about the start for the competition based reality show. Iggy responded, “I will be there for one week at the end of June and 4 weeks in November so in total this is just a 5week thing.”
Iggy also revealed Digital Distortion will be delayed from its previously scheduled release date next week. “[I]t was June 24th but obviously the xfactor talks all month behind closed doors have changed things as I’ll be in aus,” Iggy tweeted.
Iggy will be replacing former X-Factor judge, singer-songwriter, Dannii Minogue. It has yet to be revealed who will join Azalea on the judging panel, which last year included Minogue, Guy Sebastian, Chris Isaak and James Blunt.
