Keokuk Association for Race & Equality (KARE) and Unity in the Community will host a free event for the Keokuk community on Saturday, September 10th at the Rand Park Pavilion. This is the sixth year of activity for the community based organization Unity in the Community and the second year of operation for KARE.

“A Fun Day in the Park” will feature a safe afternoon of free food, local entertainment and fun activities for young and or older children. There will be a Velcro wall, a Bungee Run, an Iceberg Challenge, a Wacky Trike and a Frozen Bounce House.

Entertainment will include; The Islanders featuring Naloni Proctor, Dave Roth and others. There will be hot dogs, chips and a beverage as well as speakers from the area.

Come out and enjoy a free “Fun Day in the Park” on Saturday, September 10th from 12:00 to 5 p.m. in the Rank Park Pavilion.
