Keokuk Lady Chiefs Pull Off Comeback In Ottumwa

The Keokuk Lady Chiefs basketball had a successful past week as they gained two more victories on the road. Friday night the Lady Chiefs dominated Fort Madison for the second time this season on their way to a 57 to 20 victory over the bloodhounds. Junior Jakala Hall led all scorers with 11 points off the bench in the 37 point victory. Saturday’s game against Bettendorf was cancelled due to weather. Tuesday night the girls headed to Ottumwa where they snuck out of town with a tough victory. The Chiefs found themselves down by 11 points at halftime against the Lady Bulldogs. The Chiefs managed to outscore Ottumwa 33 to 14 in the second half as they won by a score of 48 to 40. The Lady Chiefs will be back in action Friday night as they host Mount Pleasant at Wright Fieldhouse.
