In less than 24 hours residents of Lee County will go to the polls to vote in city elections throughout the county. In Keokuk 5 city council seats will be voted on with 3 of them being contested while Keokuk will vote on a new mayor to take over for the retiring Tom Marion in January. 1st Precinct voters will do so at the South Lee county courthouse while 2nd ward ballots will be cast at the Heritage Center. Residents of Precinct 3 will head to the Keokuk Art Center while 4th ward voters will visit the Evangelical Free Church on 7th street. Precinct 5 voting will take place at the Learning Center next to Keokuk Middle School, 6th ward polls will open at First Christian Church, and Precinct7 voters will do so at the Keokuk Nazarene Church. Polls will open in Keokuk and most balloting stations in Lee County at 7AM Tuesday and will close at 8PM.
