Our General Manager and Vice President here at Radio Keokuk and Riverfront Broadcasting of Keokuk Inc. is Dave Brock. He leads us all and keeps this crazy team in check.

Originally from Indiana and a graduate of Indiana University Dave spent most of his career in Nebraska, as a radio voice and sales manager for KHAS, “The Sports Giant of the Midwest” as it was known then. He was the voice of the Hastings College Broncos for 20 years. During that time was inducted into the Hastings College Athletic Hall of Fame, and was twice named the Nebraska Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.  He was also the radio voice of the Tri City Diesel of the NIFL, a minor league arena football team. After joining Riverfront Broadcasting in Nebraska City, Nebraska as General Manager, Dave became the radio voice of the Peru State College Bobcats in addition to his management duties.  He has been honored through the years by the Indiana Baseball Coaches Association, the Hastings Chiefs Baseball Association, the National Indoor Football League and Peru State College.Through his time in the business he has managed, built, and turned around a number of radio operations in multiple markets.

In 2015 Riverfront Broadcasting acquired 4 new markets in Iowa and he took over the management of KHBT in Humboldt, which is where he was before coming to Keokuk in the spring of 2016. When the opportunity presented itself he partnered with Doyle and Carolyn Becker, the principal owners of Riverfront Broadcasting to form Riverfront Broadcasting of Keokuk and acquired KOKX and WCEZ. According to Dave, “It’s a great opportunity in a beautiful city, and I look forward to making the radio stations a viable part of the community and the community proud to have them.”
