Tracy Smith

Tracy Smith, 62, of Kahoka, formerly of Fort Madison, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Tracy was born July 20, 1961 in Fort Madison, Iowa to Sue Branch.

He was a graduate of Fort Madison High School and worked many years in and around Fort Madison as a welder, truck driver and cook.

Tracy married Jeni Freeze on February 11, 1989, they had two children and later divorced. Tracy was very devoted to his mother and children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar, reading and riding motorcycles.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Kurtis Smith, stepdaughter Kasi Freeze, grandson Jaxen Freeze, and cousins and many friends.

Tracy was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Harvey and daughter, Roxanne Smith.

A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date in Fort Madison, Iowa.
