Thomas Sean Walker, 75, of Carthage, passed away at 8:26 AM, Friday, June 14, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. Thomas was born June 26, 1948, in Keokuk, Iowa. He was the son of Edward Arlo and Bernice (McHone) Walker. He graduated from Carthage high school in 1966. On June 6, 1990, he was united in marriage to Carol Harmon in their backyard in Carthage, Illinois.
Thomas enlisted in the US Army in 1967. Upon his honorable discharge he was employed as the grounds keeper at the Carthage Golf Course for over 30 years. Sean loved to spend time with the love of his life, Carol, their children and grandchildren, family and friends. Always a good time with fun and laughter was had! He was a man of great honor.
Thomas is survived by his son, Danny (Michele) Baker, of Sarasota , Florida, his daughter, Renee Dawn (Tim) Marlin, of Warsaw, Illinois; grandchildren, Desiree (John) Newbill, of Keokuk, Iowa, Tyler Hopkins, of Columbia, Missouri, Dustin Marlin, Dalton (Raechelle) Marlin and Hunter Marlin, of Warsaw, Illinois, Kelen Baker and Jaydan Baker, of Sarasota, Florida; greatgrandchildren Kylee, Ava, Declan and Savanna; also surviving are three brothers, Kevin Lawrence (Terri) Walker, of Scottsdale, Arizona, Colin Patrick “Buzz” (Jeanie) Walker, of Payson, Arizona and Michael Claire (Bridget) Walker, of Jake’s Corner, Arizona; and three sisters, Erin Kathleen (Don) Gibson, of Payson, Arizona, Bronwyn Elaine (Paul) Streich, of Phoenix, Arizona and Megan Colleen (Dale) Struemke, of Payson, Arizona.
Thomas Sean Walker was preceded in death by the love of his life wife, Carol Lee (Harmon), his parents Edward Arlo & Bernice Lee (McHone)Walker, his nephew, Jayson Micajah FitzGibbons, Maureen Dawn (Walker) Smith, Bridget Anne (Walker) Masters, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Burial will be at a later date at the Keokuk National Cemetery, also a celebration of life is planned at a later date. Printy Funeral Home in Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
