Paul Marlin

Paul Marlin, 66, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Paul was born on December 13, 1957, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Edward and Teresa Ada (LeMaster) Marlin. He was a traveling operating room nurse, and proudly served his country in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sargeant and receiving his honorable discharge.

Paul is survived by two sisters: Kathryn Tisdale (Canton, IL) and Mary Ann (Crombie) Conover (Pekin,IL); his sister-in-law Connie (Marlin) McCracken (Fernandina, FL); nieces & nephews Ryan (Lacey) Marlin (Citrus Heights, CA) and their children: Addisyn, Tucker, Avarie, Scarlette, Oliver & Tate. Kevin (Crystal) Marlin (Fernandina Beach, FL) and their children: Caleb & Hanna. Megan (Jeremiah) Labresh (Urbandale, IA) and their children: Aiden, Kieran, Torrin, Eliana, Joelle, & Finnian. Janelle (Mike) Chavis (Swansea, SC), Daniel Marlin (Peoria, IL), Amanda (Joseph) Zehringer (Fort Mill, SC), Amelia (Nick) Christy (Bryant, IL) and their children: Collin, Grant & Sara. Sean (Rosio Sandoval) Crombie (San Tan Valley, AZ).

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: John, Barrett, Philip, & Peter; and three brothers-in-law: Jack L. Tisdale, Lloyd A. Crombie & Rob K. Conover.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, from 10 to 11 am at Printy Funeral Home, 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, Iowa, directly before the service.
