Bonnie Dee Miller Elder, 59 of Kahoka passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at her home in Kahoka.

She was born July 2, 1965 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Lyle Dean and Betty Mortimer Miller, Sr.

Bonnie enjoyed watching scary movies and collecting angels. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and her four legged companion Luna.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Sparrow (Brandon) of Fort Riley, KS, Russell Heck (Angela) of Memphis, MO, Brandon Elder (Katherine), Richard Elder, Cody Elder all of Baring, MO and Shanna Elder of Columbia, MO, eight grandchildren, Brayden Shaw, Madison Eby, Jasen Sparrow, Andrew Sparrow, Mathew Heck, Jacob Heck, Benjamin Heck and Anthony Heck. She is also survived by two brothers, Billy Lee Miller of Memphis and Danny Ray Miller (Tracy Lynn) of Arbela, MO, one sister, Mary Francis Miller Hemingway of Kahoka, MO and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Allison Heck, a sister, Roberta “Bobbie” Joann Miller Thurman and a brother, Lyle Dean Miller, Jr.

A memorial service was held 4 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka.

Visitation was held from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday prior to the service with the family meeting with friends at that time.

Memorials may be made to the family.
