Ruth Ann Wolf, 83, of Canton, MO, passed away at 8:04 PM, Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, MO.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, MO. Rev. Brian Stone will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton, MO.
Friends and Family are invited to Ruth’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, MO.
Ruth was born November 12, 1941, in Brunswick, MO, to Leonard Turner and Amy Wright Turner.
Survivors include her children, Kim (Bruce) McDermott, Alan Wolf, and Sue Jeffcoat (Matt Daggs), all of Canton, MO, grandchildren, Jessica (Ross) Allison, Justin McDermott, Amy (Tyler) Farr, and Landyn Snow, great grandchildren, Avery Allison, Nash Allison, Vera Farr, and Mason Allison.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
Ruth dedicated many years of service to the City of Canton as a water plant operator, where her hard work and commitment were deeply valued.
Ruth’s enjoyment for life was evident in her many interests and community involvements. She was a proud charter member of Eagles Auxiliary 1800 and active participant in the Red Hats Club. Her spirit of service shone through her role as a volunteer firefighter, a testament to her courage and dedication to helping others.
Ruth found peace and contentment sitting at the riverfront, immersed in her puzzle books. Her hobbies also included reading, playing bingo, and collecting crystals. Yellow roses brought her joy, as did the simple pleasure of going out to breakfast.
Above all, Ruth cherished the moments spent with her beloved grandkids and great grandkids, whose lives are forever touched by her love and legacy. Her warmth, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pallbearers will be Darin Baker, Steve Wright, Lucas Wolf, Terry Fretwell, Justin McDermott, and Bruce McDermott.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary.
