Antonio Perri Archie, 59, of Keokuk, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Hannibal Regional Medical Center in Hannibal, Missouri.
Antonio was born on October 8, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Mary Lou Archie. He graduated from Cleveland High School in St. Louis, and later attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. He served his country in the United States Army, receiving his honorable discharge. Antonio went on to employment at Griffin Wheel, Steel Castings, Wendy’s and other odd jobs. He was a God-fearing man and an active member of Living Word Ministry in Keokuk, where he served as an usher and anywhere else he was needed. Antonio’s legacy was one of encouraging, giving, helping and loving others. He enjoyed mowing grass, cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and Rams, watching movies and making the best potato salad around. Most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Antonio is survived by five children: Ashley Lawson of Keokuk, Ariel (Randy) Leeper of Wayland, Missouri, Arionna Lawson, Adonnis Lee of Keokuk, Athena Archie Keokuk; thirteen grandchildren: Markeese, Martaveon, Maliyah, Arayah, Arahlynn, Adahlayah, Ahlayde’N, Amorah, Gavin, Xavier, Zoe, Major, Jaylonie; his sister Pam Brooks of St. Louis; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Antonio is preceded in death by his mother, his brother Nathaniel and his granddaughter Maliyah.
Antonio’s life will be celebrated with a Homegoing Celebration at 2 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home, 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, Iowa. A private family graveside service will be held at Keokuk National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, August 29, at Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk.
Memorials may be directed to Living Faith Ministry, Kids Outdoor Zone or the the family for the grandchildren.
