Bill Kelley

William Howard Kelley, 75, of Carthage, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Allure of Lake Storey in Galesburg, IL.

Bill was born on April 1, 1950, at the Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Gerald and Bernetta (Gerdau) Kelley. He served in the US Army from 1968 – 1971 and was critically injured. After his military service, he overcame his injuries and worked as an electrician until retiring in 2001.

A car enthusiast with a thirst for knowledge, Bill was a devoted and reliable friend and family member. He was a kind, well-loved soul who was always ready to help or encourage others.

Bill is survived by his sister, Karen, and his daughter, Jeanette. He was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews, Damon, Nena, and Anne-Marie. He also leaves behind his fierce friend, John, whom he had known since leaving the service along with countless other friends and family members who will miss him dearly.

No funeral services will be held at this time. Printy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
