Avian influenza detected on sixth Indiana turkey farm

Avian influenza has been detected in another commercial poultry flock in southern Indiana.   The Indiana State Board of Animal Health says laboratory testing of a commercial turkey flock in Dubois County identified H5 avian influenza virus. It is considered a presumptive-positive case until samples are verified at the USDA National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Iowa.
