The USDA says scattered showers and thunderstorms stabilized crop conditions last week in Indiana. Fifty-two percent of the state’s corn crop and 53 percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent. Several MO crop conditions continue to decline

Despite the recent rains, Missouri’s corn, soybean and pasture conditions have declined in the last week. At the beginning of July, USDA says Missouri’s corn crop is rated 40% fair, with 21% of the corn silking, ahead of average. Rains bring relief to drought-stressed crops

Crop conditions showed some improvement last week following widespread rain in Michigan. As of last Sunday, the USDA says 10 percent of soybeans are blooming with 30 percent in good to excellent condition while corn is rated at 33 percent.  Dry beans are 85 percent emerged with the crop rated 55 percent good to excellent. Corn and soybean conditions improve in Iowa

Some Iowa farmers received much-needed rain last week, which helped improve crop conditions. The USDA says as of Sunday corn condition improved to 61% good-to-excellent. Four percent of the crop is silking. Soybean condition improved to 53% good-to-excellent. Twenty-five percent of the crop is blooming, five days ahead of last year. Spotty rains hit Missouri crops

There was spotty rainfall across Missouri in the last few days, but a farmer in north-central Missouri says his corn and soybeans could use additional moisture. Wisconsin budget might improve farm and business borrowing

The President of the Wisconsin Bankers Association says part of Wisconsin’s budget bill would improve farm and business lending.
