Illinois’ crop condition ratings dropped last week. Corn is rated 70 percent good to excellent, down one percent on the week. Warmer and dry conditions helped Kansas farmers progress with winter wheat harvest. The USDA says 59 percent is in with 29 percent rated good-to-excellent. Corn is in 59 percent good-to-excellent shape. Soybeans are rated at 65 percent good-to-excellent with 82 percent of the crop emerged.
