Soybeans surge as wheat buys back some losses

Soybeans were sharply higher on commercial and technical buying. Crush margins remain in positive territory, soybean oil was up following palm oil and crude oil, and overall demand continues to be strong. Soybean meal was mostly higher on bull spreading. CME milk futures mostly higher, cash dairy mixed Thursday

Milk futures were mostly higher and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Thursday. June Class III milk was down $0.13 at $24.32.  July closed up $0.03 at $24.73.  August closed up $0.04 at $24.49.  September was up $0.09 at $24.36.  October through May contracts ranged from fourteen cents lower in March to nineteen cents higher in January. Ag-supported ethanol tax credit bill to be discussed in Michigan
