Total red meat supplies up 1% on the year

The USDA says domestic meat supplies in cold storage at the end of February were mostly above year-ago levels. Live cattle futures higher ahead of Friday’s On Feed numbers

At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle were mostly higher watching this week’s direct cash business unfold.
