WASHINGTON, March 3, 2022 – President Joe Biden and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing more than $166.5 million in 108 infrastructure projects as part of implementing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
A cheesemaker from Switzerland has won the World Championship Cheese competition twice in a row, and for a third overall time. The cheese called Gourmino Le Gruyere AOP crafted by Michael Spycher of Mountain Dairy Fritzenhaus in Bern, Switzerland took top honors at the biennial contest hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association.
