Central Lee Has New, Full-Time Food Service Director

After 10 years Central Lee School District has its own food service director. Since 2007 Central Lee has employed Melanie Quereto in a share program with the Fort Madison School District. When she retired this semester the district hired Kahoka, Missouri native Amy Fogarty to be her full-time replacement at Central Lee. Branstad, Legislature Nix Lee County’s Minimum Wage Ordinance

It appears all of the work done in Lee County to raise the minimum wage was for naught. Thursday afternoon Iowa Governor Terry Branstad signed house File 295 into law preempting counties and cities from enacting their own minimum wage.
