Roberta “Robyn” Coulter, 68 of Lewistown passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at her home in Lewistown, MO.
She was born on August 10, 1957, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Francis Peter and Veronica Carpentar Lang. Robyn grew up in the Boston area and graduated from Everett High School with the Class of 1975.
Robyn had a caring and generous heart. She loved to volunteer and devoted many hours to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, where she was also a member of the church. One of the most meaningful moments of her volunteer work came during 9/11, when she assisted with survival aid and support efforts through the Red Cross. She found joy in helping others and lived her life with a spirit of service and compassion. In her spare time, she enjoyed arts and crafts and often created handmade items to share with family and friends.
Above all, Robyn treasured her family. She loved her children and grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by the people she loved most.
She is survived by three sons, Bobby Coulter (Malissa) of Muscatine, Peter Coulter (Sarah) of Kahoka, and Bryan Coulter (Rachael) of Quincy; a daughter, Tina Coulter Waldie of Quincy; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Diane Lang of Las Vegas; the father of her children, Robert Coulter Sr.; and her best friend, Vera Morris of Kahoka and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Lang, Sr.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
The Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka is assisting the family with arrangements.
