Sandra Luan Griffin

Sandra “Luan” Griffin, 86, of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Luan was born on June 27, 1939, in Plymouth, Illinois, the daughter of Merle and Vera (Downey) Roberts. She was united in marriage to Timothy Griffin on July 5, 1956, in Carthage, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1963. She was later united in marriage to Nathaniel Griffin on August 4, 1967, in Carthage. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1991. Luan was a homemaker and enjoyed passing her free time sewing.

Luan is survived by two sons: Timothy (Harriet) Griffin of Pennsylvania and Douglas (Holly) Griffin of Burlington, Iowa; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Luan is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and daughter Kimberly Sue Wehner.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
