Street Closing Announcement

The following announcement comes from City Administrator Cole O’Donnell.

“The Odd Fellows building has reached a point where collapse is imminent.  We have bid packages out for its demolition but they are not due until the 14^th and lead time to begin the project would be several weeks.  Therefore, starting tomorrow 7th St from Main St to the alley north of the building will be closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  The closure will be indefinite.  Staff is contacting adjacent business owners and media.”
