The trend of having fewer farms continued in Wisconsin last year. The USDA’s National Ag Statistics Service says the state had 64,100 farms which was down 300 from 2020. USDA says the amount of land in farms was 14.2 million acres in 2021, which was about 100-thousand fewer acres than in 2020.
