Principal, Students Celebrate Last Day of School at KHS

Keokuk High School students celebrated the final day of the 2016-17 school year Wednesday. Festivities at the high school included water balloon, an outdoor slip and slide, and a performance by a band made up of high school students. Principal Adam Magliari’s smile beamed from ear to ear Wednesday afternoon as he described the day he enjoyed with his students.

Magliari felt that his first year as head administrator at the high school was a growing experience that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Magliari, a teacher for several years before joining the district, stated that he can always find things to improve on but he hesitantly agreed to give himself a letter grade for his first year at the high school.

Wednesday was the final day for freshmen through juniors as the seniors finished classes last week.
