Minnesota Congressman Jim Hagedorn dies

Minnesota Congressman Jim Hagedorn, a member of the House Agriculture Committee, has died.

The Republican represented Minnesota’s 1st District, which covers much of the southern third of the state, since 2019.

House Ag Committee Ranking Member Glenn “GT” Thompson issued a statement Friday, saying Hagedorn was a tireless advocate on behalf of U.S. farmers and ranchers who never wavered in his commitment to serving the great people of Minnesota’s 1st District.
