Governor’s Charity Steer Show enters 40th year

An annual ag-based fundraiser will reach a milestone later this summer.

The Iowa Governor’s Charity Steer Show enters its 40th year of raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Iowa. Governor Kim Reynolds tells Brownfield they hope to raise $400,000 this year.

“I love the kids that put in the time and the work to raise these steers, and to have the opportunity to be a part of this,” Reynolds said.
