Sheep Farming: Letting The Sheep Outdoors!

Today at Ewetopia Farms, we finally get to do chores in warmer weather. I think spring has finally sprung and it is time for letting the sheep outdoors! As such, we got some yard work done in between looking after the sheep. We put bedding down in a few of the barns. While doing this in the Coverall, we let the ewes and lambs out together to get some exercise while we freshened up their pen. We followed up by letting the fall-born Dorset ewe lambs out for some sunshine, too. We removed back door covers in preparation for warmer temperatures. We also moved Thelma and Louise along with their buddies over to the Coveralls. Sheep and sheep farming is our passion and we hope that the love we have for what we do is obvious to you the viewers. Our operation is a large scale, registered Suffolk and Poll Dorset sheep farm combining the best of pasture and confinement to manage the flock for maximum comfort, minimal stress, and producing a consistent, very high quality product.
