The House could not overturn WOTUS veto

It’s now up to the courts to decide the fate of the updated Waters of the United States rule.

On Tuesday, the House did not override President Joe Biden’s veto for the Congressional Review Act resolution of disapproval on WOTUS. The U.S. Congressman for Missouri, Sam Graves, is the resolution sponsor and tells Brownfield he is disappointed.

“This whole thing is frustrating. The president turned his back on farmers and ranchers,” says Graves.
