Wisconsin town reverses anti-farming ordinance

A municipal board has reversed course and rescinded an ordinance that placed numerous restrictions on farmers.

Kim Bremmer with Venture Dairy Cooperative tells Brownfield the Town of Laketown in Polk County has two new members on their three-member town board, She says this new board includes farmers who pushed back against activist-led efforts to restrict farming.

Bremmer says the lawsuit against the Town of Laketown will likely be dismissed, but the battle will continue in other townships that have passed similar ordinances.
