AFBF says more right to repair agreements needed

The American Farm Bureau Federation says producers need additional right to repair agreements similar to a law recently passed by Colorado lawmakers.

The Centennial state became the first to implement right to repair legislation and AFBF’s Emily Buckman says…

“Colorado lawmakers recognized the progress that we made by including (memorandum of understanding) language,” she said.

Earlier this year, AFBF signed MOU agreements with John Deere, Case IH, and New Holland that require the manufacturers to provide producers with the necessary resources to repair ag equipment.
