Carbon sequestration program grows in 2023

Cargill is expanding their carbon sequestration program in 2023.

RegenConnect is a program that pays farmers for the carbon sequestered on their farm as they implement sustainable ag practices like cover crops and reduced tillage.

Clay Edwards, a sustainability program lead with Cargill, tells Brownfield the RegenConnect program now includes cotton, which means 9 more states can participate including North and South Carolina, Colorado, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas.
