Corn and soybean stands are evening out after a wet spring caused replanting in south-central Minnesota.
Cole Trebesch of Sleepy Eye tells Brownfield heavy rains were frequent in April and early May.
“So we replanted probably 20 percent of our corn, and all the beans we had in when the rains hit us. But other than that stuff is really starting to look nice finally now, beans look really good. Corn is starting to even out with the multiple planting dates.”
He suggests conditions are getting dry.
