Illinois State Fair livestock entry deadline extended to July 7

The deadline to make livestock exhibition entries for the 2023 Illinois State Fair has been extended to July 7th.

Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark says the original deadline was July 1st but the grace period was added after several areas of the state were hit with severe weather last week, causing power outages and damage to homes and local post offices.

Entries must now be postmarked or put in the entry drop box at the Illinois State Fair Emmerson Building by Friday, July 7th.
