49% of Nebraska corn, 43% of soybeans rated good to excellent

Some areas of Nebraska received rain last week.

The USDA says as of Sunday 49% of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent shape. Three percent of the crop is silking.

43% of soybeans are rated good-to-excellent. Twenty percent of the crop is blooming.

The state’s oat crop is rated 39% good to excellent. Eighty-three percent of the crop has headed.

Pasture and range conditions are rated 40% good to excellent.
