A cold Spring weather pattern ahead for most of the Heartland

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for below-normal temperatures nearly nationwide.  In fact, warmer-than-normal weather will be confined to Florida’s peninsula. 

Meanwhile, below-normal precipitation in the western and central U.S. should contrast with wetter-than-normal conditions in the East.
