USDA says corn and soybean planting and emergence are ahead of average in Missouri. The latest crop progress report has corn planting is 92% complete, well-ahead of the five-year average of 56% complete. Sugarbeet planting leads

Freezing, wet conditions continued to stall fieldwork in Michigan last week. As of Sunday, the USDA says sugarbeets are 85 percent planted and 30 percent emerged, ahead of last year and the five-year average.  Soybeans are 15 percent planted and corn is six percent, both behind last year and average.
