Full Day of Fall Tillage

Now that Harvest is over I'm trying to get the Corn on Corn ground worked to helps residue break-down faster and get the wet bottom ground filtrated. I rented neighbors, 2700 disk ripper, to do a 1 pass fall tillage. Looking back it probably would have been better to hit the stalks with a stalk chopper to break them down a bit before hitting them with a ripper. We'll see […]
