Legislation introduced to classify phosphate and potash as critical minerals

A bipartisan bill has been introduced in the in the U.S. House that would list phosphate and potash as critical minerals. Temps vary across the Heartland; rains still linger over parts of the eastern Corn Belt

Lower diesel fuel prices are prompting more farmers to fill their tanks. Now that Harvest is over I'm trying to get the Corn on Corn ground worked to helps residue break-down faster and get the wet bottom ground filtrated. I rented neighbors, 2700 disk ripper, to do a 1 pass fall tillage. Looking back it probably would have been better to hit the stalks with a stalk chopper to break them down a bit before hitting them with a ripper. We'll see […]
