U.S. farm income declined slightly in January as costs rose, one sign of the inflation currently hitting the ag economy. The USDA says grain and oilseed export inspections dipped during the week ending February 24th, due in part to Presidents’ Day. The 2021/22 marketing year started June 1st, 2021 for wheat and September 1st, 2021 for corn, sorghum, and soybeans. The USDA’s next set of supply and demand estimates is out March 9th.
