Keokuk Junior Bowler Ties for 10th at Nationals

A Keokuk bowler took 10th in the national USBC Junior Gold Champsionships under 12 division. Rachel Moore of Keokuk headed to Cleveland, Ohio for the national tournament where she was one of 18 bowlers to move on to the advancers round from a total of 124 participants in the first 4 qualifying rounds. At Monday’s school board meeting, it was announced that Nora Springs, Iowa native Layne Billings had accepted the position to become the head administrator at the middle school.
