CME milk futures, cash dairy lower Thursday

Milk futures were lower in the near term, and cash dairy prices were lower except for milk powder Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June Class III milk was down $0.26 at $16.11.  July was down $0.18 at $16.64.  August was down $0.15 at $17.48.  September was down $0.04 at $18.44.  October through April contracts ranged from five cents lower in November to seven cents higher in February and March.

Dry whey was down $0.0025 at $0.2750.  There were fifteen sales recorded from $0.2725 to $0.28.
