Crystal Becker

Crystal Becker, 47, of Bonaparte, IA passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

She was born on July 3, 1978 in Carthage, IL to John and Gale Vermeesch Crutcher. She was raised by Stanley Barrows and considered him as Dad.

Crystal had a kind and generous heart and loved finding ways to share her creativity with others. She was employed at Casey’s in Donnellson, IA, and also poured her energy into her own shop in Bonaparte, “Treasures by the River”, where she enjoyed visiting with customers and friends. She found joy in making tie blankets, designing jewelry, and shooting pool, but her greatest joy came from being with her family and caring for her dogs.

She is survived by four sons, Dale Barrows, Jacob Barrows, Austin Becker, and Stanley Barrows also four sisters and three brothers.

Crystal was preceded in death by her parents and three children, Colton, Travis and Iris Barrows.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Michael Browning officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Vigen Memorial Home for final expenses.
