Emma Harrison 86, of Keokuk passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.
She was born September 24, 1939 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Rose) Real.
Emma was married to Harry (Pud) Lewis who preceded her in death. She then was married to David Harrison who also preceded her in death.
She was employed by the Lee County Home until their closure.
Emma was a member of Crossview Fellowship Church.
She enjoyed going to McDonald’s with friends, going to yard sales looking for special treasures, and spending precious time with her grand kids. Emma was a huge fan of gospel music in her free time and especially took in the spirit of the book, Chicken Soup for the Soul.
Emma is survived by four daughters, Cathy (John) Morris of Keokuk, Vickie (Ray) Gilbert of Wayland, MO, Amy Harrison of Keokuk and Becky (Shawn) Crowell of Kahoka, MO, one sister Jeanette Butler of Keokuk, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, David’s children Mary Ellen Groves, David Harrison, Tony (Luann) Murphy and their families.
Besides her husbands she was preceded in death by her parents, son Junior Lewis, two brothers Delbert and Bob Real and David’s daughter Sydney Garcia.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, Illinois with Pastor Ryan Crowell officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is assisting the family with arrangements.
