Farmer says navigating fertilizer market hasn’t been easy

Southwest Nebraska farmer Andy Jobman says it’s been challenging to manage volatility in the fertilizer market.

“If a guy had booked too early on some of his fertilizer, then he probably missed out on some of the lower prices we’ve seen this spring. But, it’s also really good peace of mind to know that you got your fertilizer and chemical bought.”

He tells Brownfield he’s cautiously optimistic prices are headed in the right direction.
