Global, domestic issues add uncertainty for Nebraska grower in 2022

A Western Corn Belt farmer says there are global and domestic adding uncertainty in 2022.

Northeast Nebraska farmer Lucas Miller tells brownfield the Russia/Ukraine conflict are top of mind because it’s “playing with the markets right now and affecting how they’re moving causing some of the upper-range volatility that we have along with the South American drought and what the gauge of that truly is.”

He says demand at ethanol plants and soy crushing facilities is strong but that could change.
