House Ag Committee moves precision ag bill

The House Ag Committee has advanced a bill to the full House that would develop voluntary standards for precision agriculture.

One of the bill’s sponsors, U.S. Representative from Kansas, Tracey Mann, says the private sector and U.S. government should work together to get this done in the next two years.

“The Promoting Precision Agriculture Act (H.R. 1697) does what the House Ag Committee does so well. It brings together ag producers, stakeholders and lawmakers to discuss regulations and policy.”
