Kinsley Mia Moore (Our beautiful butterfly), 2, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Fort Madison, Iowa.
Kinsley was born on January 6, 2022, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Jesse Moore and Courtney (Nelson) Moore. She was full of life, and loved butterflies, dancing and singing, bubbles, animals and the water. She also enjoyed being a pretty princess, dressing up and having her nails painted. Most of all, she loved her brother Asher.
Kinsley is survived by her parents Courtney Moore of Keokuk and Jesse Moore of St. Francisville, Missouri; her brother Asher; five grandparents: Gina (Sean) McGinnis, Ron (Christine) Nelson, and Patricia Tweedell; seven aunts and uncles: Megan White, Connor McGinnis, Natalie (Leighton) Stewart, Nicole (Zeke) Persson, Nichelle Nelson, Nathan Nelson and Shelby Jo Tweedell. God parents Trisha Jones and Brittany (Baylee) Picton. Other survivors include two half-sisters, several nieces, nephews and cousins and close family friends, John Glasgow, Cody Lutzen, and Courtney Kellum.
Kinsley is preceded in death by four great-grandparents, Allan and Cynthia Knisley and Evelyn and Gene Nelson.
Kinsley’s life will be celebrated with a visitation from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk.
