Losses continue in soybeans, corn, wheat

Soybeans were sharply lower on speculative and technical selling. There’s been at least some rainfall in dry parts of the Midwest this week, with the potential for more. August is the big month for beans, but an improved precipitation pattern during July would definitely be an asset for the crop. While this year’s crop might not reach those lofty initial projections, if the conditions are able to stabilize or improve, production should still be relatively large.
