Milk futures, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended the week in mixed activity as nearbys held on to the week’s negative tone while later month contracts were more optimistic.

March Class III milk was down seven cents at $22.35. April seven cents lower at $23.82. May up 12 cents at $24. June 19 cents higher at $24.02. July through September 40 to 59 cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.7575.

Blocks down $0.0425 at $2.19.
